PUERTO PRINCESA TO CORON – BY FERRY
If you’re not okay with ferry crossings and long ones at that, then this one probably isn’t for you.
You can take the Puerto Princesa to Coron ferry, every Sunday using the travel company, 2GO.
This ferry crossing is direct and takes around 11 hours. Leaving Puerto Princesa at 7:00 am and getting to Coron at 6:00 pm that afternoon.

PUERTO PRINCESA TO CORON – BY BUS & FERRY
This next option is for those of you who don’t mind a full day of travel but would prefer if some of that travel was on something other than the Puerto Princesa to Coron ferry.
This one includes a bus. The way to reduce your time on the ferry is to first take the bus from Puerto Princesa to El Nido, then hop on the ferry from El Nido to Coron.
Although this cuts out the time you’re on the ferry to Coron, it does however massively increase your travel time.
There are shared vans or private vans available daily to get from Puerto Princesa to El Nido and the journey time takes around 5 to 6 hours.

The ferry departs at 6:00 am the next morning meaning you have to wait overnight before being able to board the ferry from El Nido to Coron.
Although a more affordable option and it does cut down the time you’re on the ferry, this is by far the longest form of travel to get from Puerto Princesa to Coron.
So, how to get to Coron from Puerto Princesa? Simply the easiest route is to fly. The longest route is to catch the bus then hop on the ferry or if you want to strike a happy medium, then just jump on the ferry at Puerto Princesa and wait out the 11 hour crossing all the way to Coron.
