Pacifico Beach Siargao is a cruisey surf town with white sand beaches, tropical palm trees and A-class surf breaks on the north-eastern tip of Siargao Island. Make the drive away from the popular Siargao tourist spot, General Luna, and enjoy some peace and quiet among the tropical paradise of Pacifico Beach.
WHERE IS PACIFICO BEACH SIARGAO & HOW TO GET THERE
Pacifico Beach is located on the north-eastern coastline of Siargao Island. Pacifico Beach is approximately a 1-hour drive from the main tourist hub of General Luna. Follow the Siargao Circumferential Rd and you won’t get lost.
The best way to get around Siargao island is on a scooter. The cost for a scooter rental is around 300-400 pesos per day or for a monthly rental you’ll get a cheaper rate of 200-300 pesos per day. Most accommodations will be more than happy to help you to organise a scooter rental for your time spent on Siargao island.
In my opinion, you don’t want to go directly to Pacifico Beach as there are so many awesome locations worth stopping at along the way. If you leave early enough from General Luna you can make a big adventure day out of it. See the list below for a one-day Siargao itinerary of things to do and see on the way to Pacifico Beach:
- Sunrise viewpoint at the palm tree rainforest
- Palm tree road
- The bent palm tree rope swing in Siargao
- Tayangban cave pool
- Magpupungko rockpools
- Pacifico beach

WHAT TO EXPECT AT PACIFICO BEACH SIARGAO
The village at Pacifico Beach is a sleepy surf town nestled beneath a coconut palm tree rainforest. This small coastal town in Siargao’s north is the perfect spot to surf, eat, sleep and repeat!
Pacifico Beach is one of the best Siargao surf spots on the island. Many surfers flock here to surf the A-class reef breaks just a short paddle out from the shoreline. There are a small handful of surf breaks at Pacifico Beach Siargao, all within a couple of minutes walk from each other. Take your pick of left-hand or right-hand waves that are best surfed on mid to low tides.
My friends and I spent 2 days and 1 night at Pacifico Beach Siargao and here’s what we got up to:
- surfed the long left-hand point break
- explored the pristine white sand beach
- swam in the turquoise water in the bay
- hammock chills between the coconut palm trees
- sunset at Pacifico Beach Resort
- ate the BEST local food at Lebron James & Dwayne Wade restaurant

There are approximately a dozen homestays, hotels and resorts at Pacifico Beach Siargao, all within a stone’s throw from the ocean.
My friends and I didn’t have any accommodation booked before arriving in Pacifico Beach so we ended up perusing some homestay’s along the main road to find a cheap room for the night. We found a groovy little place called Barrel Spot Surfhouse and we rented out one of their bigger family rooms for the night which cost us a total of 1000 pesos.
