WHAT TO EXPECT AT BOHOL PANGLAO BEACH
The 200 metres long Panglao Beach is a small but dreamlike beach. Fringed with coconut palms and turquoise waters, this is hands down one of the best beaches in Bohol.
The only beachfront hotel is the famous and luxury Mithi Resort & Spa which also hosts a small island in front of their shores serving as a wedding ceremony spot.
The little island can be reached by strolling in waist-deep water and you’ll be able to enjoy the views of the coastline along Panglao Beach.
When we arrived at Panglao Beach we were greeted by some friendly locals who were enjoying their karaoke session in a small beach hut along the beach. They didn’t seem to be disturbed by our presence and we enjoyed the background music as we were relaxing on the sandy shoreline.
We didn’t come across one single tourist which made the visit to this untouched paradise even more worth it.
The best time to visit Panglao Beach is during high tide and it’s also a great location to watch the sunset in Panglao.
Panglao Beach is one of the most tranquil and relaxing beaches in Panglao and well worth adding to your Bohol itinerary.
